Luis Rengel uncorked a wild pitch that put a runner in scoring position, then allowed in infield single and a sacrifice fly, handing the win to the Scrappers.

The game stayed scoreless into the seventh as starter Scarlyn Reyes threw six shutout innings, giving up just two hits while striking out four. The Scrappers got a run in the seventh when Gaither Bumgardner walked two patters before and a wild pitch by Kelly Secrest allowed a runner to come home.

The Cyclones tied the game in the next inning when a double by John Mora scored Adrien Abreu, who had reached on a walk.

The Mini-Mets out hit the Scrappers 8–7, with three coming from hot-hitting Tyler Moore.

TheClones take on Mahoning Valley again tonight at 7 pm, continuing the road trip before returning home on Aug. 12.
