A man punched a driver in the face on Amity Street on Dec. 30.
The 38-year-old victim told cops that he was in his car near Clinton Street at 1:45 pm when he noticed he was being followed. He got out of his car and asked, “Why are you following me?” The other driver then slugged his inquisitor in the kisser. The attacker is said to have a Russian accent.
Seat creep
Someone stole a pocketbook from a parked car on Clinton Street on Dec. 27.
The 39-year-old victim said she parked her white Toyota Camry near Lorraine Street at around 1 pm, and when she returned two hours later, the car’s rear window had been smashed and her Puma handbag containing $100 and 12 assorted credit cards was gone.
New Year’s greed
Someone tried to break into a Cheever Place home on Dec. 31.
Cops said the creep was seen trying to sneak into the home through a front window. Luckily, something scared off the cat burglar.
