The Coney Island Career Opportunities Fair will be held August 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Keyspan Park, 1901 Surf Avenue near West 19th Street.
Get your foot in the door at some of New York’s best companies and connect with business professionals to start planning the next steps of your career. Training program providers will be on hand to register you for programs designed to help you develop valuable skills for employment in a variety of fields.
Come prepared: Bring copies of your resume and wear business attire as you meet face to face with industry specialists, in vocations such as administration services, banking, civil service, customer service, government, hospitality, managerial, medical, and retail.
Participants are also invited to sign up for training programs in the fields of accounting, cable installation, commercial driving, construction, home care, hospitality, medical billing, nursing, TV and film production, and woodworks.
