The femme fatales offered to split the contents of a bank book they just found if she paid them $7,500. The duped lady agreed, and drove with the two fraudsters to her bank, withdrew the funds, and handed them over. The victim was told to go to a home on 86th Street between Bay Seventh and Bay Eighth streets to retrieve her share, but when she got there, the resident told her he didn’t know what she was talking about.
