Back door bandit

Cops cuffed a guy for trying to break into a Hampton Avenue home on Oct. 9.

The suspect tried to get in through the back door between Exeter and Ocean avenues about 2:30 pm, but police stopped him in his tracks, according to authorities.

Road rage

Police arrested a 42-year-old man for smashing another man on his head with a glass bottle on E. 15th Street on Oct. 9. The two got into an argument after one hit the other’s car near Kings Highway at about 7 pm, but it escalated and the suspect hit the victim in the head with the bottle, causing him to bleed, according to authorities.

A punk keyed a guy’s car parked on Avenue V on Oct. 10, police said.

The guy told police he had parked his car between E. Seventh Street and Ocean Parkway at about 7:30 pm and some nogoodnik ran a key over it from the back to the front passenger side door, causing paint damage, according to authorities.

Tool thief

Some baddies broke into a construction site on Shell Road and swiped thousands of equipment on Oct. 12, police said.

The jerks broke into the site between Avenues X and Y sometime between 6 and 7:15 am and ran off with $9,000 worth of tools, according to authorities.

Bag snatchers

Two ruffians threatened a teen and swiped his backpack on E. 28th Street on Oct. 13, police said.

The 14-year-old told police the two goons came up to him near Avenue P at about 1 pm and said, “Give me your bag or I’m gonna f— up,” officials said. The snakes then forcibly grabbed the teen’s bag off his back and ran off with the contents inside, including a $1,200 macbook laptop, according to authorities.
