Divine hammer
A 25-year-old man was arrested after smashing a hammer through the windows of a car parked on Carroll Street on July 7.
The literal-minded Breeders fan shattered the windshield and front windows of the 1997 Dodge Caravan near Hicks Street at 12:32 pm, cops said.
Pot luck
Police arrested a man who they say was a wanted thief on Baltic Street on July 3 — after spotting with a bag of marijuana.
An officer said he was near Smith Street at 11:55 pm when the suspect dropped the bag of pot in front of him. When police searched the 54 year old, they say they found a stolen navigation system on him.
The man had previously been suspected of stealing cash, a navigation system, and headphones from a vehicle earlier this year, cops said.
