A man punched a straphanger in the face as he exited a G train at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station Downtown on Sept. 5, police said.

The 35-year-old victim told police he was getting off the Queens-bound Brooklyn Local at 7:25 am when the guy sucker-punched him and took off running through the station, where the Police Department’s Transit Bureau District 30 is headquartered.

The suspect stands 5-feet-11 and weighs approximately 185 pounds, officers stated. He was wearing a dark polo shirt, blue jeans, and glasses on the morning of the attack, they said.
