Police are asking for the public’s help finding the three men they say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint in Flatlands on April 3.

Authorities say the armed suspect displayed a black revolver at the clerk while the two other perps stole $500 from behind the counter of the shop on Avenue M near Utica Avenue at 9:15 pm last Friday. The trio then fled on Avenue M. There were no injuries, according to police.

Police say the armed suspect was last seen wearing a blue, hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball cap, green camouflage pants, and brown boots. Cops say the second and third suspects were both wearing black jackets and jeans at the time of the robbery.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 then entering “TIP577.” All calls are strictly confidential.
