Cops ID man suspected of shooting teen girl in Bed-Stuy

Police have identified a man suspected of shooting a teenage girl at a Bedford-Stuyvesant Playground last month.

Investigators named 19-year-old Ahziem Walter as the alleged gunman, who they believe fired off the shot that struck the 13-year-old girl in the shoulder at St. Andrew’s Playground on Kingston Avenue near Herkimer Street at 7:50 p.m. on July 24, cops said.

Paramedics rushed the girl to Kings County Hospital, where she was treated for serious injuries to her lung, ribs, and shoulder, according to police.
