Drink and swerve
A 41-year-old man was arrested for driving drunk and recklessly on Avenue Y early in the morning of June 23.
Police said the arresting officer was near Coney Island Avenue at 12:45 am when he noticed the suspect swerving between lanes and crossing the double yellow line toward oncoming traffic.
When he pulled the suspect over, the driver was clearly intoxicated — with watery eyes, an unsteady gate, and smelling of booze — police said.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested for attacking another woman inside her Lacon Court apartment on June 21.
The victim told police that she was inside her apartment near Everett Avenue at 11 pm when the other woman grabbed her by the arm and attempted to smash her in the face with a picture frame.
Around town
A 36-year-old man was arrested for driving a stolen Lincoln Town Car on Avenue T on June 27.
The arresting officer noticed the man exiting the stolen Lincoln near Eighth Street 5:45 pm and questioned him. The suspect was brought into police custody when he unable to produce any documentation proving ownership of the vehicle upon the officer’s request, officials said.
