E. Fourth slasher
Cops nabbed a 20-year-old man, claiming they caught him knife-in-hand as he stabbed the tires of no-less-than 10 cars parked along E. Fourth Street on June 28.
The officer said he heard the complaint over the radio and reported that he was between Avenue P and Quentin Road at 12:48 am, when he spotted the suspect puncturing the front tire of a 2011 Toyota. After going up and down the street with a flashlight, the officer discovered that the suspect had a busy night, ultimately slashing the tires on 10 cars, and causing roughly $2,000 in damage all told, according to police.
Window of opportunity
A crook looted $600 from an E. 13th Street apartment on June 27.
The victim told police that he left his home between Avenues R and S at 1 pm to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and returned at 2 am the next day to find someone had swiped the cash from his bed stand. The suspect entered the apartment through a rear window, and left the same way, cops said.
Saboteur
Some vandal got his jollies sabotaging a car parked inside a Shore Parkway on June 27.
The victim told police that he parked his sedan inside the garage between E. Sixth and Hubbard streets at 10 pm, and returned two hours later to find four tacks stuck in his tire, and his passenger-side window laying in shatters on the seat.
Criminal voyage
A crook nabbed a man’s ’95 Plymouth Voyager he parked on E. 21st Street on June 29.
The victim told police he left his car between Avenues T and U to go fishing at 6:45 am, and returned at shortly before 5 pm to find his ride missing. The man told police he locked his doors, but cops couldn’t find any evidence of breaking and entering, according to police.
Evil dentist
A woman claims she went into an Ocean Parkway dentist’s office to get some teeth removed on June 28 — but instead, she was sexually assaulted.
The victim told police that she went into the office between Kings Highway and Avenue R to get some teeth removed at 5 pm, and she was quickly knocked out with anesthesia in preparation for the operation. When she woke up, however, the woman says she had the same amount of teeth when she went in, but had a horrifying pain between her legs that made her fear the worst, cops reported.
The 61st Precinct has referred the case to the NYPD’s special victims unit, which will attempt to determine if the dentist went too far.
Mean girls
Cops are hunting for a pack of women wanted for threatening another woman’s life while she was sleeping inside her Avenue W apartment on June 28.
The victim told police she was fast asleep inside her apartment between Batchelder and Bragg streets at 1 am, when she was rudely awakened by a group of unknown vamps banging on and shouting threats through her front door.
Bad seeds
A 38-year-old woman claims she was mobbed by a pack of three armed teenage goons who beat her and took her valuables on E. 22nd Street on June 30.
The victim told police that she was near Avenue W at 7:40 am when one of the suspects drew a pistol and demanded her bag. The gun-wielding fiend then punched her in the face, before snagging her purse and iPhone, and fleeing with his friends.
Pier pirates
A crook pilfered a man’s boat he docked on Landis Court sometime between June 12 and June 25.
The victim told police he left his cruiser at the pier near Just Court on June 12, and returned a few weeks later to find his navigation system, worth nearly $3,000 — along with a computer chip — missing.
Violent rhetoric
Police arrested a 35-year-old man who they say beat a younger man and took his cash on E. 14th Street on June 30.
The victim told police that he was arguing with the suspect near Neptune Avenue at 9 pm, when the suspect punched him in the face and took $1,260.
