Police are asking Brooklynites to keep their eyes peeled for a man they believe punched a woman in the face on a Boerum Hill subway platform in May, according to a report.

The victim, a 38-year-old woman, told cops she was waiting for an N train at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center stop at 5:30 pm on May 20, when a man suddenly socked her in the face, then jumped on a Manhattan-bound R train, according to a report.

The woman sustained a bloody nose and a swollen face, but refused medical treatment at the scene, police said.

Authorities say the man they’re looking for has a dark complexion and dreadlocks.

Law enforcement officials ask people with information about the incident or with knowledge of the man’s whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.comor by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
