Cops arrested a man who they say held up two local pharmacies over the summer.
Investigators say that the 49-year-old suspect entered a pharmacy on Nostrand Avenue near Avenue I on July 27 and robbed a worker at gunpoint.
Several weeks later, on Aug. 18, the gun-toting thief hit again — this time at a pharmacy on Bedford Avenue near Clarkson Avenue.
Investigators nabbed their suspect this week, charging him with robbery.
Two teens were arrested following a Nov. 6 robbery on Flatbush Avenue, according to cops.
Police said the two suspects jumped a third teen near Church Avenue at 5:25 am. After allegedly punching him and going through his pockets, the suspects ran off with the victim’s headphones — only to be arrested a short time later.
Cops arrested a 52-year-old man who they say tried to steal an assortment of hair care products from an Avenue J Walgreen’s on Nov. 6.
Workers at the store near E. 14th Street told police that the suspect was spotted taking the items from a store shelf at 12:45 pm and putting them in a bag. He then tried to leave the store, shoving a curious worker aside as he headed for the door.
Cops arrested a 22-year-old woman who they say stabbed another woman in the back during a Nov. 4 argument on Woodruff Avenue.
Witnesses said that the two were arguing inside a home between Ocean and Flatbush avenues at 8:25 pm when the 22-year-old attacked, leaving her victim needing medical care.
16-year-old vs. cop
Police arrested a 16-year-old who they say refused a cop’s order to disperse on E. 16th Street on Nov. 3 — then tried to grab the officer’s baton.
The cop said he was approaching Avenue M at 3:04 pm when he saw the suspect congregating with a group of other teens at the corner.
The officer told everyone to move on, but the teen wouldn’t. Instead, he tried to grab the cop’s baton — leading to a disorderly conduct arrest.
Killed in crash
A motorist smashed into two seniors crossing Snyder Avenue on Nov. 4, killing one of them.
Witnesses said that the victims, ages 63 and 71, were crossing near Utica Avenue at 11:30 pm when the 2007 Toyota Camry careened into them.
The 63-year-old, identified as Connecticut resident John Williams, died of his injuries at Kings County Hospital. The second man was listed in stable condition.
The driver of the Camry remained at the scene and wasn’t facing any charges by Monday night.
