Cops say this man is the Ridge sex predator

Meet the predator of 82nd Street.

Investigators have released a sketch of the man who sexually assaulted and robbed two women on the quiet Bay Ridge street during a horrific 40-minute crime spree on Feb. 25.

Police say the hoodie-sporting hooligan jumped a 44-year-old woman from behind at 11:15 pm, sticking a gun in her back as she walked between Fifth and Sixth avenues.

“I’m going to kill you bitch,” the man threatened as he swiped the woman’s cellphone and $6. He then unzipped his pants and tried to force his victim to undress, but the woman fought him off.

The thug pistol-whipped his victim and ran off, only to resurface 20 minutes later, grabbing a 22-year-old woman near 82nd Street and Fifth Avenue.

He flashed his gun and forced his new victim into a nearby building, where he sexually assaulted her before running off with the woman’s cellphone.

Inspector Eric Rodriguez, the commanding officer of the 68th Precinct, said his cops were pulling out all the stops as they searched for the thief, noting that these types of attacks were extremely rare in Bay Ridge.

The last sexual assault to take place was in May, 2010, when a 12-year-old was abducted off 67th Street near 12th Avenue and nearly raped. The plucky tween managed to fight off the man and escape.

In September, 2008, a woman was grabbed outside of her Fort Hamilton Parkway home, forced into her basement and sexually assaulted, but the rapist, who apologized to the victim as he committed the heinous act, was later arrested, Rodriguez explained.

“[The Feb. 25 attacks] were unusual,” he said. “There aren’t many sexual assaults around here.”
