Police are looking for two men they say stole thousands of dollars worth of video games from a store in Canarsie on Aug. 27.

The pair entered the video game store on Rockaway Parkway, between Glenwood Road and Conklin Avenue at 12 pm, telling the clerk they wanted to purchase a used Wii console, according to police. One of the suspects later walked out with a box of 50 video games, cops say, valued at approximately $3,265.

Authorities say the suspect who exited the store with the video games was wearing a black baseball cap with the phrase “Rags to riches,” and the second suspect was wearing a black and white baseball hat. According to police, the suspects did not use weapons and there were no injuries.

Police ask that anyone with information regarding the incidents is asked to call Crime stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
