Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect they believe stole a wallet from a Coney Island home on May 26.
Authorities say the suspect reached through the window of the home and swiped the wallet from a table at 2 pm. The suspect later used a credit card from the wallet to remove cash from a Gravesend cash machine on Avenue Z.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
