Cops are hunting the thief who racked up $1,000 worth of illicit charges on a woman’s credit card reported stolen in Sheepshead Bay on Jan. 10.
The victim told police she was on a D train stopped at the Sheepshead Bay subway station near Voorhies Avenue at 11 pm, when she discovered her wallet was missing and contacted police.
Investigators were able to track purchases made on the card to various Queens retailers at around 8 pm that same day, and obtained surveillance footage of a likely suspect, cops said.
Police described the suspect as between 30 to 40 years old, and last seen wearing a grey shirt and dark clothing.
