Shoplifting suspect

A 34-year-old woman was arrested for trying to steal more than $1,600 worth of clothes from a Kings Plaza store on June 17.

An employee told police that he was inside the clothing store between Flatbush Avenue and E. 52nd Street at 1:40 pm when he saw the woman put 45 pairs of leggings and 86 tank tops in a plastic bag and attempt to leave without paying.

Cat fight

Police arrested a 23-year-old woman who they say attacked and robbed another woman on E. 55th Street back on May 28.

The victim told police that she was between Avenues N and O at midnight when she got in an argument with the suspect.

Eventually, the suspect flipped her lid and attacked the victim, beating the woman with her fists and pulling her hair before taking off with her cellphone, cops said.

Quarter crooks

A 19-year-old man and 18-year-old woman were arrested for pillaging a car parked along Avenue T on June 15 — stealing quarters.

A witness told police that he was between Royce Street and Bergen Avenue at midnight when he saw the duo pulling on car door handles of multiple cars, and entering the victim’s 2011 Acura.

The victim told police that there had been a stack of quarters in his car when he parked it, but when he returned the next day, it was missing. Police arrested two suspects who, they said, had 69 quarters, 18 pennies, and one silver half-dollar on them, and admitted to stealing them when questioned. The duo said they needed the money to buy food and cigarettes, cops said.
