76th Precinct

Carroll Gardens-Cobble Hill–Red Hook

Whip it good

A 49-year-old man was arrested for cracking a whip on Court Street on May 22.

Police say the man was near Luquer Street at 11:30 am when he flailed his Indiana Jones-like accoutrement, scaring about 10 to 15 pedestrians who walked away from him in fear of his 10-foot weapon.

Cut to…

Police cuffed a 15-year-old who they say robbed a man with a box-cutter in the Carroll Street subway station on May 22.

The victim said he was at the station at 7:50 am when the teen asked for money, but he didn’t cooperate until he saw the weapon.

Slice of life

A 25-year-old woman was arrested for wildly threatening another person with a knife on Mill Street on May 23.

The threat occurred near Henry streets at 5:50 pm, cops said.
