Police arrested a man who they say stole a man’s cellphone and some cash in the Lafayette C train station on Oct. 8.
The 31-year-old man told cops he was on the Brooklyn-bound platform at 3:30 pm when two men asked him what time it was. They then asked to see his cellphone and when he showed it to them, one of them snatched it.
After the victim asked for it back, one of the men simulated a gun under his shirt and demanded the victim’s money, which he handed over to him. Cops say they found one of the suspects with the help of an app.
Beat down
Two ruffians beat up a man on DeKalb Avenue on Oct. 9.
The victim told cops he was at Flatbush Avenue at 4:20 pm when the jerks walked up to him and said, “I want to make a call, give me your phone.”
After the victim refused, the brutes punched him in the back of the head and fled.
Phone play
Two jerks took a teenager’s cellphone on Fulton Street on Oct. 9.
The 14-year-old victim told cops he was at Clermont Avenue at 2:35 pm when the duo grabbed him and took his smartphone.
Criminal
A flock of teenagers robbed a man on S. Oxford Street on Oct. 12 — getting away with $335 in cash.
The 19-year-old victim told cops he was at DeKalb Avenue at 1:55 pm when five jerks came up to him and asked him for money. When he refused to hand it over, they attacked him, punching him in the face before ransacking his pockets and grabbing the money.
Doused
A thief stole a man’s laptop from an apartment on S. Oxford Street on Oct. 9 — while the guy was in the shower.
The 30-year-old victim told cops he was in the shower at his place between Greene and Lafayette avenues at 1:30 pm, and got out a half-hour later to find his iPhone and MacBook gone.
Car player
A crook looted a car of gadgets and a designer belt on S. Portland Avenue on Oct. 8.
The 22-year-old victim told cops he left his car parked at DeKalb Avenue at 12:30 pm, returning at 2:50 pm to find his MacBook, Cannon camera, and Versace belt gone.
Gentleman thief
A well-dressed thief robbed a man on Clinton Avenue on Oct. 9.
The 24-year-old victim told cops he was entering a building between Greene and Gates avenues at 9 pm, when the dapper Dillinger, who was wearing a blue blazer, slacks, and a nametag that said “Kofi,” snatched his iPhone from his hand and fled.
My car!
A crook stole from a car on Washington Avenue on Oct. 12 — while its owner watched from a block away.
The 21-year-old victim told cops that she parked her ride at Park Avenue at 2:13 am. She was a block away when she turned around and saw the crook open the passenger-side door and remove her iPod and credit cards.
For a ride
Someone stole a car parked on DeKalb Avenue on Oct. 9.
The 52-year-old victim told cops he had left his car between S. Oxford Street and S. Portland Avenue at 8:45 am, returning at 10 am to find it missing and no broken glass on the scene.
Car muscled
A crook stole a car from Clinton Avenue on Oct. 9.
Representatives from the company that owned the car told cops that they had left the car between Myrtle and Willoughby avenues at 2 pm, returning three hours later to find the Ford van gone. Cops said they found the car in Queens the next day.
