Bottle effect
Police arrested a 49-year-old man who they say assaulted another man with a glass bottle on the Riegelmann Boardwalk on June 27.
The victim told cops he was at Brighton Fourth Street at 2:20 am when the suspect struck him with the bottle, causing his left eye to bleed.
Weakest link
A 19-year-old man was arrested for stealing a chain off of a woman’s neck on Stillwell Avenue on June 25.
The victim was at Mermaid Avenue at 7:35 pm when the man allegedly grabbed the chain, causing it to break and the victim’s shirt to rip.
