Police arrested a man who they say stole hot plates, 80 custom signs, 10 wood crates, a fire extinguisher, and more, from a food vendor at the Dumbo Arts Festival on Plymouth Street on Sept. 28, police claimed.
The alleged crook took his stolen goods — in addition to a garbage can, two extension cords, two cooking pots, two cooking lids, two LED lights, a wood-cutting bowl, and an emergency medical kit — in a cab at 5:34 am near Washington Street, reported police.
Running shoes
A woman was cuffed for stealing apparel, including sneakers and a handbag, from a Fulton Street store on Sept. 25, police said.
She was caught by an employee at the business near Little Street at 11:30 am, according to reports.
Borough maul
A man spit in a woman’s face, grabbed her by the back of the neck, and slammed her to the concrete floor of the Borough Hall subway station on Sept. 23, police claimed
The incident, which occurred at 5:45 pm, required that the victim be treated at a local hospital, cops said.
