Police arrested a 16-year-old boy who they say robbed a woman on Stillwell Avenue on June 27 — taking off with her iPhone when she failed to retrieve it.

The victim told police that she was near Mermaid Avenue at 10:08 am when the suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her pricey smartphone.

The victim said she struggled with the suspect to recover her phone, but he tossed her to the ground and fled.

Copper caper

Two men, ages 18 and 40, were arrested for vandalizing and robbing a building on Brighton Fourth Street on June 27.

Police say the younger suspect admitted to heading to the roof of the building between Brightwater Court and Brighton Beach Avenue at noon, where he acted as a lookout while his accomplice painted the wall.

The suspects then stole copper pipes from the location and fled, cops said.

Pocket perp

A 21-year-old man robbing a man on W. 18th Street on June 27, according to police.

The victim told police that he was near the Riegelmann Boardwalk at 2:30 am when the suspect snatched the bag he was carrying, which contained a Nintendo DS, two DS games, a pair of sneakers, and a flashlight. The suspect then bizarrely shoved the victim’s hands into his own pockets and fled, cops said.
