94th Precinct

Greenpoint–Northside

Take three

Cops arrested a trio who they say attacked and robbed a man in McCarren Park on Oct. 13.

The 33-year-old victim said he was walking through the park at 12:45 am when he noticed he was being followed by a group. The suspects came up behind him and one of them punched him in the face while the other two tried to grab his belongings, according to the police report.

Arresting officers said they spotted the attack and cuffed the three men, charging them with robbery.

Sleep tight

A brazen burglar stole a laptop off a N. Fifth Street woman’s bed while she was sleeping in it on Oct. 14, officers stated.

The 35-year-old victim said that she was watching a movie on her laptop and fell asleep at 1 am, and when she woke up a few minutes later, her laptop was gone along with her purse.

Police came to the house and found that the window latch in her apartment broken, according to a report.

Pole position

Two cars full of gun-toting goons chased down a driver, damaged his car, and stole his property on Frost Street on Oct. 15, cops said.

The 48-year-old victim said he was driving between Debevoise and Morgan avenues at 1:40 am when two other cars suddenly boxed him in.

Three toughs jumped out of the cars, and one of them put a gun in his face while another one smashed all of his car windows with a baseball bat, police reported. The three got away with the man’s cash and assorted jewelry, according to the authorities.

Park it, mister

Police arrested a man who they say assaulted and robbed a teenager while he was holding a parking spot for his father on Lorimer Street on Oct. 15.

The 16-year-old victim said he was standing in the spot between Bayard and Richardson streets at 7:25 pm when the suspect came up and started grabbing at him, according to police.

The accused ripped off the teen’s sweater and stole his cellphone, wallet, and books, cops reported. Officers cuffed the 21-year-old man and charged him with robbery.

Aiming low

Two bullies beat a man and tried to steal a dollar from him on Nassau Avenue in the early morning of Oct. 18, the NYPD said.

The 19-year-old victim said he was walking at the corner of N. Henry Street at 4:25 am when two louts jumped in front of him and demanded a dollar.

“Give me a dollar or I will punch you,” one supposedly said.

When he refused, one of the punks punched him in the face and went through his pockets, but they did not take anything, a report states.
