Cops: Woman fractures another lady’s ribs

Punch drunk

A 34-year-old woman was cuffed for repeatedly punching another woman’s face and body on First Place on July 12, police said.

The 3 am assault, near Court Street, caused two fractured ribs and bruising and swelling in the body of the victim.

Car raid

A 49-year-old man was arrested for rummaging through another man’s car parked on First Place on Aug. 21, police said.

The owner of the car, a 2011 Toyota parked near Clinton Street, woke up at 6:25 am to hear two loud sounds outside his house and saw the suspect riffling through his vehicle. Police were able to recover the victim’s stolen property, which included $52 and a cup.

Looking for directions

A 41-year-old man was arrested for stealing a navigation system from a locked car on Sackett Street on Aug. 20, police said.

The car parked near Henry Street was robbed at 2:10 am. Police found the device later in a bag that the suspect was carrying.
