Cops: Woman slashes man with broken mug handle

Police arrested a woman who they say slashed a man in the face with a broken mug handle in the Atlantic Avenue train station on Sept. 4.

The 45-year-old victim told cops he was with his fiancee in the station near Flatbush Avenue at 2 am when the woman slashed the left side of his face.

Unsweet 16

Police say a gun-toting 16-year-old went on a robbing spree near Classon Avenue on Sept. 2 and 3.

• First, the teen stole an iPhone from a woman on Clifton Place on Sept. 2, police said.

The victim told cops she was at Classon Avenue 10:08 pm, texting, when the thug approached her with a gun and said, “Hand over the phone.” Cops said they did not recover a handgun.

• Then, a crew of crooks, including the 16-year-old, tried to rob a man on Classon Avenue on Sept. 3, said police.

Cops said the group approached a man near Greene Avenue at 10:13 pm and one of them displayed a gun. The victim refused to hand over his stuff and the crooks fled.

• Police say another crew involving the 16-year-old robbed a woman on Lafayette Avenue on Sept 3.

A witness told cops that the four men surrounded a woman at Classon Avenue at 12:50 pm, and one of them displayed a gun, saying, “Give me your iPhone.”

A Jobs job

A crook stole an iPhone from a woman on Fort Greene Place on Sept. 4, but cops used the phone’s app to find it.

The 34-year-old victim told cops she was near DeKalb Avenue at 7 pm when the crook took her iPhone. Cops said they used a tracking app on the smartphone to find it.

Guns for real

A crew of armed men threatened and robbed a woman on Classon Avenue on Sept. 3.

Cops said the gang approached a 26-year-old woman near Clifton Place at 10:20 pm, and one of them put a gun to her face, demanding, “Give me your phone.”

iPhoned

A thug beat a man for his cellphone on Hanson Place on Sept. 8.

The 35-year-old victim told cops he was at Flatbush Avenue at 6:48 pm when the crook asked him to “Run his pockets.” He then pushed the man to the ground, punched him, and took his cellphone.

Night fight

Two knife-wielding brutes assaulted three people on Willoughby Avenue on Sept. 8.

The victims told cops they were at Washington Park at 4:20 am when the thugs approached them with a box-cutter, and started a scuffle. One victim said a crook cut his hands, and another told cops he cut the left side of her head.

Emptying the car

A thief helped a woman unload her car parked on Willoughby Avenue on Sept. 7.

The 40-year-old victim told cops she left her car between Emerson Place and Hall Street at 1:15 pm, and when she returned at 2:43 pm, her laptop and backpack were gone.

Mirror, mirror

A vain criminal stole a delivery truck driver’s cellphone on Fort Greene Place on Sept. 6.

The 42-year-old victim told cops he was making a delivery between Hanson Place and Fulton Street at 9 am when he saw a teenager looking in his mirror.

The teenager told him he was “looking at myself in the mirror,” but when the victim got in his truck, he noticed his cellphone and other electronics were missing.

Macked

A thief stole an iPad and MacBook from an apartment on DeKalb Avenue on Sept. 6.

The 30-year-old victim told cops he left his place between Clermont Avenue and Adelphi Street at 9:20 am, returning at 5:30 pm to find his electronics gone.

Jackpot

A burglar struck an apartment on Grand Avenue on Sept. 4 — taking off with more than $4,000 of electronics.

The 29-year-old victim told cops he left his place between Putnam and Gates avenues at 9 am, returning at 7 pm to find more than his pricey gadgets gone.

Cell grab

A crook stole a woman’s cellphone on Waverly Avenue on Sept. 3.

The 34-year-old victim told cops she was at Lafayette Avenue at 6:15 pm when the crook took her phone out of her hands and ran.

Crabby cabbie

An angry cab driver stole a woman’s cellphone on Myrtle Avenue on Sept. 4, according to cops.

The 20-year-old victim told cops she was near Classon Avenue on her way to Williamsburg when she flagged the cab down and told the driver she needed to get change for a $100 bill. The driver got enraged, cursed at her, and grabbed her iPhone before speeding off without her, police said.

Atlantic terminated

A crook stole a woman’s wallet in the Atlantic Center Mall on Sept. 1.

The victim told cops she was at a restaurant in the plaza near Flatbush Avenue at 6 pm when she left her purse on the table while she used the restroom, returning a few minutes later to find her wallet missing.

Car’s gone

A thief stole a car from Carlton Avenue on Sept. 5.

The victim told cops he parked his car between Willoughby and Myrtle avenues at 10 am, returning an hour and a half later to find it gone.

Targeted

A crook waltzed out of the Atlantic Center Mall’s Target with a TV he didn’t pay for on Sept. 8.

Representatives from the store in the mall near Flatbush Avenue told cops that a thief walked out with a 32-inch Samsung TV without paying for it between 7 and 7:10 pm.
