Talk about having a spooktacular good time!
Decked in costumes, makeup and glad rags of all stripes, scores of Canarsie kids flocked to IS 211 on E. 100th Street on Oct. 22 to celebrate a fright-free Halloween.
All screams of terror were replaced with laughter as kids danced — and breakdanced — the afternoon away near Avenue J, then feasted on a host of candy and treats.
But the costumes were the real treat: kids came dressed as cats, little princesses, vampires (and vampirellas), and of course, Spider-Man, Batman and Wolverine.
Two show stoppers had to be brothers Josh and John Watson, who both came dressed as Transformers.
The fun-filled afternoon was sponsored by the 69th Precinct Community Council.
