Kiddie rides, hundreds of vendors, live entertainment and even lifesaving tips from the FDNY fire safety truck ramped up the cool action from Atlantic Avenue to Joralemon Street as Brooklynites escaped being holed up the previous day to revel in the fall frolic, sponsored by the Young Republican Alumni Committee.
Boerum Hill visitors Hannah Hemmerley and Lena Zimmer shared chocolate covered marshmallows and took in the breezy smorgasbord’s of smells, sights and sounds showcasing the bustling commercial corridor in Downtown.
Staff from the North Shore Animal League was also on hand to help fur-friendly visitors adopt a pet.
