Police are looking for the monster who followed a woman from the subway and tried to rape her in the stairwell of her Sunset Park apartment on Oct. 22.
The brute tailed his 38-year-old victim from the subway at 25th Street to her apartment nearby a little before 10:30 pm, officials said. She was climbing the stairs when the man pounced on her, knocked her down, and began masturbating on her, according to police. Cops believe he was trying to rape the woman, a department spokeswoman said.
He finished and fled to parts unknown, officials said. The victim sustained minor physical injuries and refused medical attention, a police report states
Cops say the suspect is a 23-year-old with black hair standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and weighing 150–160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a two-toned bubble jacket and dark jeans, officials said.
