Cretins bash, rob man on Christmas Day

88th Precinct

Fort Greene–Clinton Hill

Violent night

A band of savage Scrooges beat and robbed a guy near Washington Park in the early morning hours of Dec. 25, forcing him to spend Christmas Day in the hospital.

The victim’s girlfriend told police her beau was on the way to the grocery store on Myrtle Avenue to buy beer at 3 am when five or six marauders snuck up on him, bashed him, and stole his belongings.

The had an un-merry Christmas in hospital suffering a broken jaw, badly bruised right eye, possible broken nose, internal bleeding, and memory loss, cops said.

Empty threats

A nogoodnik threatened to bash a guy if he didn’t hand over his phone near a Fulton Street subway station on Dec. 18.

The victim told police he was at the Clinton-Washington Avenue station at 12:40 pm when a jerk approached him and demanded he surrender his iPhone or face a beating.

The punk then followed the guy onto a Brownsville-bound C train and continued to menace him until a Good Samaritan stepped in and put a stop to the intimidation, according to a report.

Cracking it

A bozo tried to swipe a man’s phone out of his hand on Dec. 18 — but only succeeded in breaking it.

The victim was strolling in the street near Washington and Gates avenues at 11 pm when a young guy approached him and attempted to grab his phone out of his hands, police said. The lummox was unsuccessful but the phone dropped to the ground, cracking the camera lens, according to a report.
