‘99 Problems’
A jerk swiped an iPad from a Jay-Z fan’s car on Dean Street on Sept. 30.
The 53-year-old victim told cops he parked his car near Carlton Avenue at 3:30 pm, then walked a few blocks to the Barclays Center to see the rap star perform. He came back just after midnight — then discovered his iPad and eyeglasses gone.
Picture that!
A scoundrel swiped a top-notch camera from a package meant for a Park Place resident on Oct. 2.
The 33-year-old victim told cops she spotted a ripped package in the trash near her home at Sixth Avenue, then discovered a thief had pillaged her delivery package — and made off with her $750 Canon Camera and expensive lens.
Bike bummer
A crook swiped two expensive bicycles from an apartment on St. Marks Place on Oct. 2.
The 30-year-old victim told cops someone snatched two Pake bikes, which cost roughly $1,700 each, from a common area at his apartment near Fourth Avenue at around 10 pm. The apparently safety-conscious thief also grabbed a white helmet and a $60 light.
Not sweet
A perp swiped some cash from a candy box inside an apartment on Carroll Street on Oct. 3.
The 47-year-old victim told cops he fell asleep inside his home near Third Avenue at 10:45 pm, then woke up at 3 am and discovered his window busted. That’s when he noticed $100 missing from chocolate box on the kitchen counter — and his wallet and laptop gone.
El bandito
A crook swiped a wallet from a worker at a Mexican restaurant on Flatbush Avenue on Oct. 4.
The 24-year-old victim told cops she set her purse down in a storage area at Burrito Bar near Prospect Place at 4:30 pm — then returned at 10:30 pm and discovered her wallet gone.
Pocket jockey
A pickpocket swiped a cellphone from a straphanger on Flatbush Avenue on Sept. 30.
The 25-year-old victim told cops she stuffed an iPhone in her back pocket at 7:15 pm, walked out of a Q train station near Seventh Avenue — then felt someone bump her from behind. She noticed her cellphone missing 10 minutes later.
Screen snipper
A jerk tried to break into an apartment on Fourth Street on Oct. 3.
The 38-year-old victim told cops he spotted a man attempting to cut his window screen near Seventh Avenue at 11:15 pm — but something spooked the perp and he ran away empty-handed.
Jacked Acura
A bandit jacked a car parked on Third Street on Oct. 1.
The 35-year-old victim told cops she parked her gray 2010 Acura near Eighth Avenue at 10:35 pm, went home, and came back at 6:10 am. That’s when she discovered her trusty ride gone with no sign of broken glass.
Mall rat
A jerk swiped a purse from a shopper on Atlantic Avenue on Oct. 4.
The 27-year-old victim told cops she set her brown leather purse inside her baby’s stroller while shopping at Marshalls near S. Portland Avenue at 2:30 pm. She walked away from the stroller for 15 minutes, then discovered her bag gone — along with the birth control, credit cards, and perfume inside.
