A quick-handed perp riding a bicycle snatched the iPhone out of a woman’s hand on Fifth Avenue on June 13.
The 27-year-old victim told police that she was near Third Street at 7 pm checking her messages on her phone when the mobile crook grabbed the cellular device and fled down Third Street toward Fourth Avenue.
A crook looted all four rims and tires from a car parked on Prospect Park West sometime between June 7 and 11.
The 54-year-old victim told police that he left his gray Nissan parked near Second Street at 8:30 pm on June 7. Four days later — at about 3:30 am — he heard his car alarm go off, and when he returned to his ride he found it rimless and tireless.
All in the family
Someone stole about $2,500 worth of goods from a Fifth Street apartment sometime between June 8 and 11.
The 44-year-old victim told cops that she suspected that her stepson looted four bins, one full of sterling silver items, from her abode between Prospect Park West and Eighth Avenue. The woman said that her stepson was at the apartment on June 8 when he and her husband were removing items from the house, police said.
A thug stole a man’s iPhone from out of his pocket while he was sleeping on a Bay Ridge-bound R train on June 15.
The 23-year-old victim told police that he fell asleep on the train at around 2 am. About 30 minutes later fellow passengers woke him up at the Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street stop and informed him that a criminal had just stolen his cellular device from his shirt pocket.
The crook fled the train.
A bandit jacked a man’s motorcycle that he left parked on Saint Marks Place sometime between June 7 and 10.
The 40-year-old victim told cops that he left his black Ducati bike on the street between Fourth and Fifth avenues at 10:30 am on June 7 and went away for the weekend.
When he returned to move his motorcycle at 11:30 am on June 10, he noticed that the ride was missing.
A thief stole a man’s checkbook out of his Third Street apartment’s mailbox and cashed $9,500 worth of fraudulent checks on June 15.
The 35-year-old victim, who lives between Fifth and Sixth avenues, told police that the crime happened at about 9 am.
A swift miscreant seized a woman’s cellphone while she was inside the Atlantic Avenue subway terminal on June 12.
The 30-year-old victim told cops while she was walking up the stairs to the 4 and 5 train platform at 9:45 am, the perp approached her from behind, grabbed her phone out of her hand, and fled.
Shopping for free
A criminal got a hold of an Eighth Avenue man’s information using his credit card account and went on a pricey online shopping spree from May 23 to 27.
The 42-year-old victim, who lives near Eighth Street, told cops that someone used his credit card to make purchases for a Bvlgari watch and a Bvlgari ring, equaling more than $10,000.
