Drunk victim
A pair of ne’er-do-wells broke into a Clinton Avenue apartment and threatened to kill a drunk resident inside if he didn’t hand over his money on March 5.
The victim told police the bandits entered the residence near Gates Avenue at 2 am while he and a friend were sleeping after hitting the booze. The crooks woke the man up and took him to another room with his eyes blindfolded and hands tied, then told him they would kill him if he didn’t give them all of his money — so he handed over his credit card.
Once the crooks went and took out $300, they returned to the apartment to give the card back and fled, according to authorities.
But the victim didn’t report the crime until 1 pm because he passed out from the hooch he downed before the break-in, he told police.
Bigoted bashing
Police arrested a guy who allegedly hurled a homophobic slur at another man and then whacked him with a stick on Lafayette Avenue on Feb. 28.
The 26-year-old victim was walking home with his husband near Fulton Street at 9:16 pm when the suspect called him a “f—-,” a report said. The victim responded by asking what the 60-year-old man’s problem was, and the suspect allegedly picked up a stick from a trash can and hit the victim on the thigh, causing bruising, according to authorities.
Cops later cuffed the suspect while searching the area.
Drilled
Cops arrested a man who they say hit an employee on the head with a power drill on Grand Avenue on March 1.
The 56-year-old suspect and the 69-year-old worker got into an argument while they were in an apartment building by Gates Avenue at 12:40 am.
The fight turned physical and the suspect allegedly bashed his foe on the head with the power tool, cutting it and causing bleeding and swelling, according to authorities.
The victim went to Brooklyn Hospital and cops arrested the other guy after an officer called him on his cellphone, a report said.
Delivery drama
Some pirate plundered a delivery guy’s electric bike after it was left unattended on Fulton Street on Feb. 28.
The pedal-pusher told cops he left his Electronic Trek bike near Washington Avenue at 8:20 pm and went inside a building. When he returned to the sidewalk, his ride had vanished, according to a report.
