Two Chains

Crooks nabbed two chains off a man’s neck on Quentin Road on Sept. 9.

The victim told police that two thieves latched onto the chains around his neck near E. 16 Street at 11:58 a.m., before hopping into a car and peeling off, cops said.

Missing Funds

Two burglars snagged $500 from an Avenue U restaurant on Sept. 10.

Camera footage showed that the two unknown men entered the restaurant near E. 19th Street at around 3:00 a.m., before taking off with the money from the register, police said.

Home Invader

A burglar looted $15,185 worth of goods from an E. 18th Street apartment between Sept. 12 and Sept. 15.

The victim told police that he left for vacation on Sept. 12 and returned to his home at 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 15, when he noticed that the screen to his kitchen window had been tampered with and his passport and various designer items were missing, cops said

Caught

A home invader looted a Voorhies Avenue home to the tune of $1,850 on Sept. 11.

The victim told police that when he walked into the kitchen of his home near Haring Street at 5:45 a.m., he spotted the burglar prowling around his home and the thief immediately hightailed it, but not before nabbing credit cards and liquor, cops said.
