Sneakdrawal
Two brazen thieves robbed a man while he was using a cash dispensing machine on Ralph Avenue on Sept. 15.
The victim told police that around 8:50 pm he was withdrawing money at the bank near Avenue J when he was distracted by a man using the machine next to his.
At this point, cops said, another man snatched the $900 the victim had just withdrawn out of his hand. When the victim attempted to take his money back, both men ran off with the money and the debit card, according to the police report.
Window shopping
Someone stole a man’s gadgets from his car parked on Utica Avenue on Sept. 17.
The man told cops that he parked his car in a parking lot near Avenue J around 12:45 am and went into a night club. When he returned to his vehicle, his rearview window was shattered and his bag containing his laptop, headphones, and hard drive missing, according to police.
Rough home attack
A trespasser attacked a woman when she caught him prowling through her E. 55th Street home on Sept. 12.
The woman told police an intruder entered her home near Avenue O through a broken basement window around 10 pm. When she ran into the marauder, the invader pushed her to the ground and left the home, according to the police report.
Unfriendly robbery
A weasel stole $40 from an acquaintance’s wallet at his E. 56th Street home on Sept. 17.
The victim told police that the bandit, who he knows, was hanging out at his house near Avenue M earlier that day. Cops said the cretin later returned around 4:45 pm and was caught in the act by the victim, but managed escaped, according to the police report.
