A pair of punks tried — and failed — to pluck a woman’s Apple iPhone from her on 91st Street on Oct. 24, police report.
The victim said she was talking on her mobile device near Fourth Avenue at 2:50 am when the the would-be crooks ran up and tried to grab the gadget away. A struggle ensued, but the woman held on to her phone.
No breakfast
A burglar made off with thousands of dollars in Tiffany jewelry from a Colonial Road home on Oct. 21, according to cops.
The victim reported that she left her home between 88th and 89th streets at 9 am, and returned at 4:30 pm — to discovered that an invader had jimmied her daughter’s bedroom window open.
Inside, she found the house ransacked, and a Tiffany and Co.-brand necklace, bracelet, and ring missing.
Fruit loop
A masked thug held up a Third Avenue produce market on Oct. 23, authorities allege.
The storekeeper said the fiend ran into the store at the corner of Ovington Avenue with a mask over his head and a gun in his hand at 4:39 am. The villain demanded the victim open the till — and grabbed an uncounted amount of cash before fleeing.
Phoned out
Two crooks swiped a pair of iPhones from an 86th Street tech store on Oct. 26, police state.
The business’s security cameras show the grab-happy duo came into the shop between Fourth and Fifth avenues at 11:30 am, and grabbed two of the gadgets. They then scrammed and sped off in the direction of Dyker Heights in a white BMW.
Up in smoke
A crook swiped thousands in cash and swag from an unlocked car on Third Avenue while the owner was inside a nearby hookah bar on Oct. 26, cops report.
The victim said she left her vehicle near the corner of 70th Street at 10:13 pm with her expensive belongings in the backseat and without securing the doors, and went to enjoy some herbal shisha.
When she came back out at 12:30 am, she found the two designer bags, iPad, Blackbury, Chanel Perfume, two quartz necklaces, two cans of hairspray, checkbook, passport, and $260 in cash all gone.
