A bicyclist going over the Manhattan Bridge punched a pedestrian and stole his headphones on June 27.
The theft happened at 5:50 pm, near the corner of Sands and Bridge streets.
Chain, keep us together
A mean crook broke the strap of a woman’s purse off her shoulder on York Street on June 28, police said.
The victim near Adams Street at 6:50 pm when the fiend tried to steal her bag, but was unable to hold onto her purse and ran off with the chain.
Dressed to distress
Someone broke into a store near on Court Street on June 27 — taking 12 pairs of shorts and 16 dresses, police said.
Police say the theft at the shop near Bergen Street happened sometime after 6 pm.
Put it on her tab
A possibly tipsy thief stole a wallet from a patron at a popular bar on Atlantic Avenue on June 27.
The victim was at the watering hole near Henry Street at 1 pm when she noticed her wallet, which contained $80, was missing.
Grand theft
A careful thief stole a woman’s purse at a Montague Street coffee joint on June 25, police said.
The woman was at the shop between Hicks and Henry streets at 5:30 pm when she noticed her bag, which she left resting at her feet, was gone.
All that glitters
A crafty con ripped off a would-be renter of a Gold Street apartment in a Craigslist scam on June 23.
The victim wrote the supposed lease-holder a cashier’s check for a $1,650 deposit for the pad near Myrtle Avenue — but hasn’t heard from him since.
The closer
A 19-year-old man assaulted a police officer in the interview room at the 84th Precinct on Gold Street on June 25, police claimed.
In addition to that assault, cops say the 19-year-old also kicked a metal door — closing it on an officer’s finger in the process — at 2 pm.
