Daisy cooks with Mark Twain students – Television gourmand inspires kid chefs to cook in Coney Island

On a recent Monday evening, an especially appetizing smell wafted out of the kitchen at Mark Twain Intermediate School I.S. 239.

A far cry from the usual cafeteria fare, the aroma signified the start of a very special meal prepared by students in one seventh-grade class for their family and friends.
