Officers from the 88th Precinct are looking for two teen suspects who robbed a deliverista of his personal belongings and two pizzas on Feb. 16.

According to the 32-year-old delivery man, he was making a drop off near North Oxford Street and Park Avenue in Fort Greene after 10 p.m. when two teenage boys wearing all black approached him, one of whom was wielding a hammer.

After threatening the victim, the teens took $40 in cash, his cellphone and the two pizzas he was due to deliver. The pair then fled back into the Whitman public housing building, a police canvas of which yielded negative results.

Robberies are up slightly year-to-date in the 88th Precinct, according Police Department data. As of Feb. 18, when the most recent data is available, there were 15 reported robberies so far this year — up one from the 14 reported during the same time frame in 2023. Both burglaries and felony assaults, however, are down significantly in the precinct, which encompasses Clinton Hill, Fort Green Park and Commodore Barry Park.
