Famed civil rights attorney Norman Siegel topped a list of honored guests at the El Caribe, 5945 Strickland Avenue, as members of the 42nd AD Democratic Club, held their annual awards luncheon.

In what could be seen as a small preview of the Democratic National Convention, club President Pamela Laurenceau-Brown and Vice President Ed Powell honored the hard work and the vision of local Democrats that have made the 42nd Assembly District a better place to live and work.
