Hole-ding the bag
A gunman held up a Fulton Street bagel store on Dec. 31, making off with $700 in cash but leaving behind a couple of beverages, the authorities said.
Workers at the store between Hudson Avenue and Rockwell Place said the desperado came in at 3:30 pm and did some shopping. When he got to the register he showed the clerk a black revolver and said, “Don’t move. Give me all the money,” according to a police report.
The bandit took the money, then made the clerk go into the basement while he fled down Fulton towards Flatbush Avenue, the report says. Cops recovered two soft drinks at the store which the suspect had touched, and are checking them for fingerprints, police said.

The bike owner said he was in a coffee shop between Saint James and Cambridge places at 7:50 am when he noticed someone tinkering with his two-wheeler, which was locked up in front of the store. He went out, saw the scalawag trying to cut his lock, and told him to stop, according to a police report.
That is when the lowlife cut his arm with the blades and took off running, the report says.

The woman said the toughs followed her into the elevator of the building between Carlton and N. Portland avenues at 8:45 pm and started hitting her in the face. She put up her arms to protect herself, and one of the no-goodniks grabbed her purse, cops said.
The whole cretinous crew got off on the second floor and fled down the stairs, police said.
Park after dark
Two scoundrels attacked a woman and stole her purse in Fort Greene Park on Dec. 30, cops said.
The victim said she was in the park near Willoughby and Saint Edwards streets at 5 pm when the goons snuck up from behind, pulled her to the ground by her hair, grabbed her handbag, and fled.
The bag contained $50 cash, a cellphone, debit and credit cards, and some personal documents, according to a police report.
Unfair beating
Three tough guys brutally beat a man and stole his $25 on N. Portland Avenue on Jan. 1, officers said.
The victim said he was between Park and Myrtle avenues at 11:30 pm when the three scoundrels attacked him from behind. They punched and kicked him until he fell, then continued to beat him while he was on the ground, according to a police report. The treacherous trio eventually took the money and ran, and emergency personnel transported the victim to Brooklyn Hospital Center, according to the authorities.

A man punched a cabbie in the face on Myrtle Avenue at N. Portland Avenue on Jan. 3, cops said.

Caught stove-handed
Cops cuffed a man who they say stole a stove from a Vanderbilt Avenue building on Dec. 29.
The owner of the building between Flushing and Park avenues called police at 1:20 pm when he saw the suspect wheeling the stove away on a hand truck, according to a police report. Cops arrived and found the suspect with the stove still on the hand truck and arrested him, the report says.
Open a tab
A thirsty burglar broke into a DeKalb Avenue bar on Dec. 29 and stole two bottles of liquor and $96 in cash, police said.
The bar owner told police the suspect entered the building between Waverly and Washington avenues at 4:46 am by breaking the side window. The thief grabbed the cash and bottles of Hendrick’s Gin and Grey Goose Vodka, then took off, the authorities reported.
Briefcase in the crowd
Someone snatched a man’s briefcase as he dozed on a bench in the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center subway station on Dec. 28, officers said.
The man said he was waiting for a B train at noon in the station, and sat down on the bench with his briefcase between his legs. He fell asleep for 30 minutes and when he woke up, the briefcase was gone, cops said. He told police it contained a laptop, an electronic tablet, and a cellphone.
