Two scoundrels stole soap from a Sheepshead Bay Road store and threatened an employee who tried to stop them on June 14.

The victim said two people walked in to the store near E. 14th Street at 8:11 pm and took three bottles of Dove body wash, and two Dove soaps without paying. When the victim confronted them, one pulled out a box cutter, police reported, adding that the bandits fled on Avenue Z towards E. 13th Street.

Carried it off

A good-for-nothing stole a lawn chair from a bodega on Avenue Z on June 11.

The victim said the thief entered the store near E. 17th Street at 8 pm and walked off with the chair.

Jewel thief

A miscreant stole a bunch of jewelry from a house on E. Eighth Street on June 10.

The victim said he left his house near Avenue V at 8 pm, but when he returned at 10:15 pm, realized someone had ransacked the home, taking diamond earrings, a gold necklace, and other pieces of jewelry.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry.
