Kept on trucking

A crook made off with $15,000 in cash when he stole it from a commercial truck parked on Bay Parkway on Oct. 3, police said.

While the driver of the truck was out making a delivery at around 1:15 pm between 65th and W. 7th streets, the thief entered the truck and took the cash, along with invoices from previous deliveries. Police are reviewing surveillance cameras in the area, according to the report.

Pawn star

A perp stole electronics and jewelry from an 85th Street home on Oct. 5 before bringing the items to a nearby pawnshop just one block away, where he successfully sold them off.

The man entered the apartment between 19th and 20th avenues at around 1:15 am on Oct. 5, according to the report, and took the items from a box inside of the closet. Police soon found the items at the pawnshop on 86th Street, between Bay 25th and 26th streets.
