Ends just don’t meet

To The Editor:

I am an American citizen who cares that expenses in Brooklyn are on the rise. Rents are so high, gas bills, Con Edison, health care, taxes, drugs, food, the list goes on an on.

What are the people we voted for doing to help us make ends meet? American people are selling their homes because they cannot make it here. Brooklyn is for the rich. Where are the poor Americans going to live.

People are coming here, taking over our jobs and benefits and apartments. If I was $200 over my income I would get nothing. People come here and are way over $200, and still get our benefits.

Do not sit back and do nothing if you do you will get nothing, so speak up and tell them we want rents and everything to go down.

Call your mayor and the people we voted for and let them know we are fed up, nothing ever changes. Let them know how you feel. The government is helping the people who come here but not us.
