Exit wound

A 20-year-old woman was caught in a crossfire when she stepped out of a Greenpoint Avenue club on April 18.

She left the venue at around 4 am and overheard an argument between strangers. Seconds later, gunfire erupted between Manhattan Avenue and McGuinness Boulevard, and the woman realized she had been shot in her left leg.

School dazed

Students from JHS 126 on Leonard Street are engaging in some nefarious after-school activities:

• Five adolescent crooks beat a 13-year-old boy as he walked home school on April 14.

The hoodlums punched the boy in the back of the head at around 2:45 pm on the corner of Union Avenue and North 10th Street. Then, the under-aged thugs kicked the teenager when he was down, leaving his mouth bloody and his right eye swollen before snatching his iPod and Sidekick cellphone.

• Only minutes later, eight students from the same school jumped a 14-year-old boy as he walked home.

The teenaged mob confronted the victim on the corner of Manhattan Avenue and Leonard Street, punching him in the face and striking him in the back with a wooden cane. The victim suffered a bruised eye, lacerations to the back of his head, and bruises to his arms.

Burglars snagged

Crooks broke into a Newell Street apartment on April 14, but cops brought took them down before they could get far.

The thugs burst into the apartment, between Nassau and Driggs avenue, between 5:20 pm and 5:50 pm, while the victim was out.

Cops caught the suspects with electronics in hand at the corner of Newton Street and Graham Avenue.

Training day

Two thugs mugged a man as he rode the L train on April 12.

The crooks approached the man as the Canarsie-bound train neared the Bedford Avenue station and demanded that he fork over his wallet. The crooks got away with $10, a Metrocard, an ID and a debit card.

Bag thieves

Crooks took advantage of revelers at a bar on North Third Street, between Kent and Wythe avenues, snatching wallets and laptops from bags and purses on April 19, between 2 am and 2:30 am.
