Citizens for Better Community, a non−profit consortium of 13 blocks involved in helping enhance the quality of life within the East Flatbush community, will be celebrating its eighth annual Family Day Celebration, August 1 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Paerdegat Park, bounded by Foster Avenue, Farragut Road, East 40th Street and Albany Avenue.
The event will feature amusement park rides, clowns, face painting, pony rides, a talent show, free foodâ„drinks, and live music. It is free and open to all.
The celebration culminates with a scholarship award ceremony for four college students who have dedicated their time towards community service.
