Farmhouse sows a lot of interest in history

Residents of East 58th Street prepare for a special “Ol’ Timey” block party at the Wyckoff Family Farm House.

Picnicking through history…

Dozens of history buffs and summertime revelers flocked to the Wyckoff Farm House Museum, 5816 Clarendon Road for a second annual block party and picnic on the grounds of the borough landmark.

Organizers said that their Family and Friend Day Party is more of a family reunion or a “block reunion” than an actual block party.

Yet the salute to summer still came with all the required staples: music, food, good friends and good times.

A tour of the historic Wyckoff Farm House Museum was thrown in for extra measure.
