A 58-year-old man died after smashing his sport-utility vehicle into a van while driving before sunrise in Brownsville on Wednesday.
Long Island resident Oladele Adaramola was traveling in the wrong lane on Linden Boulevard near Rockaway Avenue at 4:08 am when he collided head-on with a Ford van driven by a 73-year-old man, cops said.
Paramedics found Adaramola unconscious when they arrived at the scene, and rushed him to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
The van driver suffered minor injuries, and emergency responders took him to Kings County Hospital for treatment.
The fatal wreck is being investigated by the New York Police Department’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad, authorities said.
