Amusements for the young and the young-at-heart – plus vendor stalls brimming with retail delights – jump-started the season of fun in the sun with a street festival along 20th Avenue.
The annual extravaganza transformed the area between 68th and 74th streets into a vibrant boulevard of outdoor fun as mom, dad and the kids joined forces with like-minded frolickers for the week-long spectacle.
Among the cornucopia of crowd pleasers were carnival-style games and hearty fare, served with a generous dollop of neighborliness – Brooklyn-style.
