While she was gone

A baddie broke into a woman’s Emmons Avenue apartment while she was gone from Aug. 18 until Aug. 26, police said.

The woman told police she left her home near E. 17th Street to go to her fiancee’s and when she returned, saw the lock on the front door was missing and the door was damaged.

The punk didn’t swipe anything but clearly went through the whole apartment, including the closet and dresser drawers, according to authorities.

Break-in

A nogoodnik broke into a guy’s home on E. 22nd Street on Aug. 27 and stole speakers and a bunch of other electronics, police said.

The cur broke the lock on the rear door of the home near Avenue U at 11 pm and swiped the speakers, and an HP computer, printer, monitor, and keyboard, according to authorities.

Identical burglaries

Police cuffed a 24-year-old guy on Aug. 24 who they say stole two bikes out of locked sheds on E. 22nd Street on Aug. 23.

The suspect entered the first yard near Avenue T and took the dark blue Roadmaster Adventures-brand bike at 11:20 pm, police said. The suspect also damaged the shed and the driver’s side of a 2016 blue Suburban Infiniti, according to authorities.

The suspect then hopped a fence and stole another guy’s bike from his shed near Avenue T at 11:34 pm, police said. The suspect took a gray Giant-brand bike, according to a police report.

Money truck

A weasel broke into the trailer of a guy’s commercial vehicle parked near Ocean Avenue on Aug. 25 and swiped a wad of cash, police said.

The jerk took $7,314 from an unlocked container in the vehicle near Voorhies Avenue and then fled down Shore Parkway at 2:45 pm, according to authorities.
